Hello everyone! I am so excited to be sharing our maternity photos with all of you! I'm not going to lie, I went back and forth on whether or not I would do maternity pictures, because I'm tired all the time and I'm not exactly feeling good in my own skin, but ultimately I decided to do them and I'm so glad we did.
Now truth time, these are not professional photos. Can you believe it?! Back in September I booked a maternity session with one of my favorite photographers in Houston and I had every intention of going, but as I near the end of pregnancy, a three hour drive to Houston, with a few hours of hair and makeup, and another three hour drive back, sounded less and less appealing. So, I decided to cancel, the day before these were taken.
With the help of my best friend, Jessica Bibles, her gorgeous land, and my Nikon D3400 we made magic happen. I did my own hair and makeup, wore a $45 dress, and my pictures were FREE. We also had a lot of help from using Julia Mann's presets on our very amateur pictures. You can purchase her moody presets here and I will link my maternity dress at the bottom of this post.
